Hostel for Undergraduate Students

The Institute has the provision of a hostel for girls and boys students pursuing their 4½ years degree course of BPT/BOT/BPO, in one building inside the premises of the Institute. There are 42 rooms for girls and 27 rooms for boys. The rooms are allotted on twin sharing basis only to the students belonging to the places outside Delhi. For food, there is a common mess for girls and boys students in the hostel, which is managed by the students on co- operative basis. The expenditure incurred on running the mess is subsidized under the heading “Mess Wage Workers Salary Subsidy” i.e. Rs.10,000/- P.M.

The Institute is providing subsidy in the form of Manpower Support, utensils and other infrastructures and Gas Cylinders. Rupees 10,000/- per month each provided for one cook and three ‘Server’ boys. The Institute also pays fuel charges to run the Mess and provides up to 30 LPG Cylinders every month. Girls students have a separate Television on the 4th Floor of the girls hostel and boys students share the Mess Hall as Television Room.


Guest House

There are 10 rooms on the 5th Floor in the hostel block, earmarked for the guests who come to Delhi either for official work in the Institute or in the Ministry. Six rooms have TV/Cable services.
